Abstract
1405337 Electro-photography HOECHST AG 16 March 1973 [20 March 1972] 12783/73 Heading G2H [Also in Division H1] To reduce the degree of ozone generation during the charging of a material 4 using a corona discharge wire 1 screened by a substantially U-shaped electrically conductive screen 2, a voltage from a source 5 is applied to the screen 2 the potential of which lies between the potential of the voltage from a source 7 applied to the wire 1 and the potential of the material 4. The apparatus may include a grid 3 connected to a third voltage source 8.
