140,379. Vavre, J. M. March 20, 1919, [Convention date]. Switches, quick-break.-Flexible-blade brushes d are mounted in an insulating-block e sliding upon two guide-rods c. A yoke k is firmly fixed to the top of the guide-rods and forms a bearing for a spindle h carrying the operating-handle i. A tongue f is keyed to the spindle h and, when the handle is raised, forces the block e and brushes d down on to the contacts b. Springs mounted on the rods c ensure a quick break when the handle i is depressed.
