Abstract

1403315 Pump drives INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. 17 Dec 1973 [26 Dec 1972] 58315/73 Heading F1A [Also in Division B7] A drive assembly for a loader vehicle comprises a housing 34 attached to an engine 28 and accommodating a driving gear 66 secured to the engine crank-shaft 56, and three hydraulic pumps 68, 70, 72 mounted on the housing 34 with their drive shafts 78, 74 projecting through apertures into the housing and carrying drive gears 88, 95 meshing with the driving gear 66, the apertures in the housing being dimensioned so that the drive gears can be passed therethrough to facilitate assembly and disassembly of the pumps. The pumps 68, 70 supply separate hydrostatic motors connected to the wheels on opposite sides of the vehicle, and the pump 72 supplies the hydraulic power system of the vehicle.
