1401925 Pressure gauges U WIEGAND [trading as ALEXANDER WIEGAND ARMATUREN-UND MANOMETER-FABRIK] 3 Oct 1973 [4 Oct 1972] 46224/73 Heading G1L In a fluid-pressure gauge in which fluid-pressure is applied through an aperture in a flange 3 to one face of a diaphragm 4 to move a member 10 and record the pressure on a gauge 1, the other face of the diaphragm 4 supports and moves a damping piston 6, of similar configuration to the internal' shape of a flange 2, so that a damping liquid 7, such as glycerine, is forced between gaps 12a, 12b to damp out any pressure fluctuations applied to the diaphragm 4. The piston 6 is biased to the inoperative position by a spring 11.
