Abstract

1401752 Valves KRAUSS-MAFFEI AG 12 Feb 1974 [23 March 1973] 06325/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division B5] In a mixing device for at least two synthetic material components and having an outlet 16 for connection to a moulding tool a slider 1 is movable from a position, Fig. 1b, in which at least three inlet ports communicate with a mixing chamber 15 to a position, Fig. 1a, in which each inlet port is connected by a by-pass groove in the slider to a respective recirculation conduit. As shown four inlet ports 7a, 8a, 9a, (10a), four outlet ports 11a, 12a, 13a, (14a) and four by-pass slider grooves 3, (4), 5, (6) are provided. In a modification for use with only two components, grooves (23), (24) in the housing each combine the recirculation flow from two slider grooves and feed a respective recirculation conduit. In a further modification two equiangularly spaced inlet ports and slider grooves are provided, two of the inlet ports being externally interconnected and a housing groove (35) interconnecting two slider grooves with a common recirculation conduit.
