Abstract

140,082. Wagner, R. July 14, 1915, [Convention date]. Screw propellers.-The pitch of a propeller increases from the circumference towards the centre, and a counter-propeller is used having a diameter less than the diameter of the main propeller. The main propeller a has its trailing edge b straight in side elevation, and its pitch increases towards the boss. The counter-propeller c consists of six blades attached to or made integral with the fixed boss. The diameter of the counter propeller varies inversely with .the variation of the pitch of the main propeller, and is reduced in accordance with the increase in the pitch of the main propeller towards the centre. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a description of details shown in side elevation with reference to Fig. 1 (Cancelled). The vertical blades registering with the rudder post may be hollow and may be connected with the rudder post by means of bolts f, g, h. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
