Abstract

1400323 Building blocks F W L LAW 15 March 1973 12630/73 Heading E1B [Also in Division B8] A brick is formed by a moulded plastics container, which is filled with a mixture of particulate waste plastics and solidifiable resin binder and which has a two opposed square faces 1 and 2 and four elongate rectangular faces 3, 3, 4 and 5 with at least the faces 4 and 5 being provided with complementary male and female formations 6 and 8 to facilitate interlocking of one brick with another. The other pairs of faces may also be provided with like interlockable formations. After use as a conventional storage vessel, the container is filled either completely or in part with the mixture of particulate waste and resin, a former being inserted into the container when only partially filling is desired.
