Abstract

1397625 Cleaning RANK XEROX Ltd 23 June 1972 29649/72 Heading G2H The surface of a xerographic drum 14 is cleaned of residual toner by a rotary brush 235. Toner particles are flicked off the bristles of the brush by a grounded, stainless steel flicker bar 236 and directed substantially in the direction of air-flow in duct 238. The air-flow is created by a vacuum apparatus.
