Reinforced - concrete columns and girders.- Concrete casings are provided for casting reinforced-concrete girders and columns in situ, such casings forming part of the structures. Fig. 1 shows the casing 1 in two parts for a column, the casing being held in position temporarily by irons 2. Reinforcements 5 are placed in the interior before filling in with concrete. Fig. 3 shows a girder comprising a reinforced concrete casing 6 and extensions 11 having one end supported on the shoulders 7 and the other end 12 embedded in the concrete 8. The hooklike ends 10 of the reinforcements are likewise embedded in the concrete 8.
