1395931 Seaming VESTRA-UNION MANUFACTURE DE VETEMENTS SA 26 May 1972 [28 May 1971] 24923/72 Addition to 1393540 Heading B5K [Also in Division D1] To guide pieces of sheet material, e.g. textile fabric, into a high frequency welding machine or a sewing machine, a guide comprises three plates 1, 3, 5 spaced apart by two lateral guide plates 2, 4. The pieces of material pass between the plates, workpieces having different edge profiles being guidable individually. Air may issue from holes in the plate 6 to form an air cushion to assist in moving the material. Preferably the plate 1 is transparent.
