1395719 Door seals C HEMMINGS & CO Ltd 17 Aug 1972 [18 Sept 1971] 43617/71 Heading E1J [Also in Division F4] The gap between the bottom of a door D and the sill 10 of a cold room or store is sealed by a pair of blades 14, 15 of a resilient material e.g. neoprene rubber serving as venting means equalising the internal and external pressures. The blades are located by securing strips 16, 17, 18 on the bottom edge of the door, the blade 14 being in wiping contact with the sill plate 10 and the blade 15 overlapping the sill edge 10a. Electric heating elements 22, 23 to prevent the blades icing, are mounted below the sill plate.
