Abstract

1395111 Digital signal transmission MICRO CONSULTANTS Ltd 6 March 1974 [7 March 1973] 11093/73 Heading G4H Digitally coded samples of two analogue inputs are transmitted on a common link by frequency displacement of the spectrum of the digital signals of one channel in up converter 21 so that the frequency spectra of the two channels are interleaved and mixing at 22 the frequency displaced signals with the undisplaced signals of the other channel. Recovery at the receiver is by comb filters 23, 24 and down converter 25. Alternatively, the other channel in the receiver may have an up converter.
