Abstract

In a communication system where analogue signals are transmitted between two stations using a carrier frequency transmission on symmetrical or coaxial cables, two wires are used for the transmission of digital signals. In these systems a half frequency component of the digital signal is derived. This interfering signal is eliminated by using a double symmetrical digital modulator cct. comprising several logic cct. elements. The digital signal and carrier frequency signal are digitally modulated for transmission along the cables with consequent elimination of the half frequency signal.
