The examples prepare N 1 -(1,4-dihydroxybutyl - 2) - uracil, N 1 - (1,4 - dihydroxybutyl - 2)- 5 - fluorouracil, N 1 - (1,4 - dihydroxypentyl - 2)- 5 - methyluracil and N 1 - (2,5 - dihydroxypentyl-1)-5-trifluoromethyluracil.
