1391089 Isostatic moulding SINTERMETALLWERK KREBSOGE GmbH 9 Aug 1972 [9 Sept 1971] 37190/72 Heading B5A An apparatus for isostatically moulding a body having a transverse opening, comprises an elastically-flexible sleeve 7 surrounding a main core 5 to define a space 8 to receive a powder, and an auxiliary core 12 slideably mounted in the core 5 and retained in position by an hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical system 13. In operation, when pressure is applied to the apparatus (right-hand side, Fig. 2) the core 12 moves with the sleeve in the direction of pressure. The core 12 can extend through the sleeve 7. The main core 5 can be omitted.
