Moulds. - In moulds of the kind provided with partitions to enable a number of blocks to be moulded simultaneously, and in which the bottom is capable of being turned up to remove the blocks and permit them to bo transported on a carrying-off board, the bottom 17 is formed with slots and, together with the brackets 19, is hinged to the bed-plate, while the slots are adapted to pass over the stationary division plates 14, 15, 16 and allow the hinged bottom to remove the concrete blocks from the mould and permit them to be carried away on the board 20. Wooden blocks 26 adjust the capacity of the various cavities, and dies 22 of the required formation are laid on the hinged bottom. An extension 21 is provided for operating the mould. In a modification, only one partition 14 is provided, and is adapted to be removed at will, so that two blocks of different sizes are produced, or a single block cf a larger or of a smaller size.
