1390089 Bearings NADELLA and A PITNER 13 July 1972 [18 Aug 1971] 32762/72 Heading F2A In a needle or roller thrust bearing, one race plate 2 rests on an annular base 6 of resilient material seated within an annular mounting 1 of channel section, at least one wall 7 of which is provided with a lip 7a which retains the race plate 2. In further embodiments, the lip 7a additionally retains the cage 5 and rollers, and optionally the other race plate 3. A ring 11 may be force-fitted to the race plate 3.
