1281274 Bearings SKF KUGELLAGER FABRIKEN GmbH 28 April 1970 [30 April 1969] 20383/70 Heading F2A In a roller bearing having inner and outer races 5, 6 with rollers 2 therebetween, the inner race 5 has a raceway 3 and is provided with a separate flange 9, and the outer race 6 has a raceway 4 and has an integral flange 7. The flange 9 is attached to the inner race 5 by means of a ring 10 having outwardly-directed extensions 11, 12 which are received in circumferentially extending grooves 13, 14 in the flange 9 and inner race 5 respectively. In modifications, the flange 9 may be integral with the inner race 5 and the flange 7 may be attached to the outer race, and the rollers 2 may be tapered for example.
