Apparatus for developing and drying roll films. -A device for securing the ends of kinematograph films to a drying-drum, developing-frame, or other apparatus employed in the various stages of production, comprises a plate 2 formed with guard loops or guides and with projections 4 to engage with the film perforations, a frame member 5 integral therewith and formed with hooked extremities 6 to engage the batten 1 of the drying- drum &c., and a similar frame member 7 pivoted to the members 5; a spring 8 coiled around the pivot pin causes the hooked members 5, 7 to grip the batten &c. 1.
