1389940 Mildewcidal coatings ROHM & HAAS CO 24 April 1972 [3 May 1971] 18809/ 72 Heading A5E [Also in Division C3] A coating composition comprises a filmforming material, a solvent or carrier, a mildew controlling amount of one or more mildewcidal isothiazolones and a stabilizing amount of a salt or oxide of cadmium, calcium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, magnesium, manganese, mercury, nickel, zinc, silver or tin. The compositions may be applied to a variety of materials such as textiles, paper, leather, wood, asbestos-cement shingles or siding and metal.
