Abstract
1389376 Electro-depositing gold alloys W KONIG 30 March 1973 [6 May 1972] 15333/73 Heading C7B An aqueous alkaline bath for electro-depositing gold alloy plating containing one or more of Cd, Zn, Ni, Co, Sn, In, Cu, comprises an alkali metal (e.g. Na) auric sulphite, less than 0.5 g/l of alloying metal (s) 0.1 to 5 g/l of Pt group metal as salt or complex, the pH being adjusted to 8-10 e.g. with ammonia and/or triethanolamine. The bath may also contain As and/or Se, and KH 2 PO 4 , Na 2 HPO 4 , dibasic sodium or potassium hydrogen ethylenediamine tetra or diacetate.
