Abstract

1388136 Direct connections TATRA NARODNI PODNIK 19 April 1972 [21 May 1971] 18180/72 Heading H2E [Also in Division F2] A cable having a resistive interferencesuppressing core 3 of low tensile strength is terminated by a device 5 having a frusto-conical threaded portion 7 which screws into the insulation 2 to provide a mechanical connection and a smooth conical portion 6 which enters the core 3 to provide an electrical connection. Portion 6 is at least as long as portion 7. The device 5 is attached to a sleeve 4 for mechanically connecting it to another member such as a resistor acting as a further interference-suppressing element.
