Abstract

1388119 Domestic mixers KENWOOD MFG CO Ltd 20 Dec 1972 [29 Dec 1971] 60527/71 Heading B1C [Also in Division F2] The shaft carrying the cutting knives of a liquidiser/blender goblet is supported in a bearing assembly having a fixed and a rotatable bearing member, there being a washer in contact with the rotatable member, the washer having a skirt portion which extends away from the outer member and is radially spaced from the inner member so as to facilitate cooling of the assembly. The skirt may be cylindrical, frusto conical, plane or fluted. The washer may be of sheet metal e.g. copper, brass or aluminium alloy.
