Abstract

1386487 Feeding sheets ROTAPRINT GmbH 19 Oct 1972 48292/72 Heading B8R Sheets are separated from the lower side of a pile 3 resting on a support 1 inclined at 45-75 degrees to the horizontal, the edges of the sheets resting on a plate 2, by means of a rotating suction roller 5 mounted on an arm 16 swingable about the axis 14 of the impression cylinder 9 of a printing or duplicating machine by means of a crank drive. Pressure is applied to the back of the pile by a bowed element 4 pivoted by limbs 19 to plates 17 forming lateral guides for the pile.
