Abstract

1386403 Chains AUSTIN HOY & CO Ltd 7 Feb 1972 [5 Feb 1971] 3990/71 Heading F2Q A chain adapted to run in a guide track 23 comprises a plurality of pairs of inner links 3a alternating with pairs of outer links 3b and being pivotally interconnected by cross-pins 5, bearing members 2 being formed on the links 3b and being adapted to engage in the guide track 23. In a modification all the links are identical and the cross-pins 5 are extended to form bearing surfaces which are received in the guide track 23. Cutter picks 13 are releasably mounted in pick boxes 10 welded to the upper surfaces of the links.
