Abstract

1385756 Filter for gas containing dust MASCHINENFABRIK BETH GmbH 11 Sept 1972 42140/72 Heading B1T In a filter for gas containing dust in which gas to be cleaned is passed from chamber 2 through a number of filter elements 5 and clean gas is delivered into clean gas channels comprising sections 8 and 10, to clean gas chamber 6 the sections 8 are individually separable from the sections 10 so that they can be removed upwardly together with suspended filter elements from housing 1. The elements are arranged in groups, each group being suspended from a section 8 of a clean gas channel. Gas nozzles on pipe 11 carried by a reciprocating carrier 12, are provided for reversing the flow of gas through the channels and elements to clean the elements. The sections 8 are suspended by fittings 15a and b which are detachable. The internal element support Fig. 4 (not shown) are hinged in the centre of their length to allow removal in restricted height spaces. . In an alternative arrangement the sections 8 and elements 5 may be inverted, the ends of the elements being suspended at the level of section 8 in drawing.
