1385247 Controlling attitude of marine craft; air cushion vehicles HOVERMARINE TRANSPORT Ltd 6 Feb 1973 [7 Feb 1972] 5570/72 Headings B7A B7M B7V and B7K A water-borne craft is provided with a laterally-extending outlet 10 for discharging water from the craft at a position 11 remote from the centre of gravity of the craft so as to cause a local change of water pressure on an adjacent immersed portion 3 of the craft. In the embodiment of Fig. 4 (not shown), pitching and rolling can be corrected. The embodiment of Fig. 8 is a side-wall gas cushion vehicle and water is discharged from outlet 99 at position 100 in each of the pair of side-wall structures 89. In this embodiment pitching is corrected.
