Abstract

138,522. Burn, A. M. M. May 14, 1919. Tobacco - pipe cleaners.-Relates to portable boilers for generating steam for cleaning pipes. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 2, a cup c inserted in a cylindrical boiler a with a solid bottom forms a seating for a ball valve f pressed down by a spring g, and the nozzle d is secured to a cap c which is screwed on the open end of the boiler. In Fig 3, the seating is shown formed by a washer h. screwed into the cap, and in the form shown in Fig. 4, a hinged flap valve j bears against, a washer k of metal, fibre, &c.
