Abstract

1384044 Vehicle bodies; vehicle doors; bumpers AUTOMOBILES CITROEN SA 4 Sept 1973 [18 Sept 1972] 41463/73 Headings B7B and B7J A vehicle having a substantially horizontal peripheral frame 1 which projects outwardly of the bodywork, a passenger compartment cover 3 mounted for longitudinal sliding movement in the frame, and a seat 9 which is biased toward a retracted substantially vertical position. The frame 1 extends about the periphery of the vehicle and is clad with a protective shock absorbing material; a roll yoke 2 is provided at the rear of the frame. The cover 3 carries a rack 4, masked by a decorative profile 5, which meshes with a manually or motor driven pinion 6, internal and external actuation switches for the pinion being provided at 7 and 8. The steering column may be pivotally mounted to facilitate enter and exit, and the roll yoke mounts a rear window, pivotally mounted at 12, and indicator lights 16.
