Abstract

1382465 Electro-photographic processes etc KALLE AG 21 April 1972 [24 April 1971] 18625/72 Heading G2H Residual particles on the selenium drum 1 after transfer of the developed image is removed by an air jet and suction device whereby an air knife issuing from a nozzle 3 is directed at an angle to the surface of the drum and a suction box 2 is used to remove the resulting particle laden spent air. A preliminary removal of the particles is effected from mechanical brush 11 and guide plates 8 and 9 are provided to insure that discharge of particles to the ambient surroundings is minimal.
