Abstract
138,212. Hooper, F. J. March 24, 1919. Dynamos, driving-Wind-driven dynamos are mounted on aircraft by means of a swivelling bracket whereby they may be brought to different angles with respect to the air-stream in order to regulate their speed. In the arrangement shown, the dynamo 3 is driven by an air-screw 4 and is carried by an arm 6 adjustable about a pivot 7 by means of hand-operated worm gearing 9, 10: or the arm 6 may be adjusted by a controlling-rod adapted to be secured in different positions by a spring detent.
