Abstract

1381827 Controlling pumps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 6 April 1973 [7 April 1972] 16683/73 Heading F1A Two pumps 24, 27 driven by a common motor 28 and delivering into separate load circuits 30, 31 are simultaneously regulated in accordance with the sum of the load circuit pressures by a piston 16 slidable in a casing 10 and having an axial bore 15 slidably receiving a plunger 12 supported in a casing bore 11 for limited angular and radial movement, the piston and plunger defining chambers 43 and 44 connected to the respective load circuits by lines 32, 34, so that the circuit pressures act to move piston 16 against springs 19, 20. The effective surface areas F1, F2 in chambers 43, 44 are made proportional to the delivery rates of the respective pumps 24, 27. Radial lubricating orifices 38 are provided in piston 16. Plunger 12 has a sealing ring 39 engaging bore 11, a pressure release duct 40 connecting the bore to a reservoir 41.
