Motorpower plant.-In an apparatus of the kind described in Specification 137,642, spur wheels and pinions are substituted for helical wheels and pinions, the latter being connected to their engine shafts by helical feathers c<1>. The lever E acts to slide either of the pinions D<1>, D<2> out of engagement if the corresponding engine ceases to develop the required power. As in the previous case, adjustable spring resistances and a partition J in the casing are provided.
