1381587 Oxidative dehydrogenation catalyst L GIVAUDAN & CIE SA 31 July 1973 [31 July 1972] 36372/73 Heading B1E [Also in Division C2] A supported copper catalyst is prepared by adding an aqueous Cu(NO 3 ) 2 /NH 4 OH solution to alumina-silica spheres, ageing, decanting the supernatant, and adding to it aqueous NaOH, mixing the resulting precipitate with a Ba(OH) 2 / acetic acid solution, adding the mixture to the previously impregnated spheres, removing the supernatant and heating the slurry coated spheres.
