Aspirating-apparatus, ejector.-In a refrigerating-apparatus in which gas is withdrawn from the evaporator by a jet-ejector b operated with a working-liquid circulated by a pump, a chamber may be provided around the nozzle to trap any liquid when the machine is stopped and prevent it from passing to the evaporator, by the passage c, and becoming frozen.
