1378571 Partitions R BARESEL-BOFINGER 19 Jan 1972 2533/72 Heading E1W A partition comprises two spaced skins of panels, e.g. 15, 15a arranged in opposition to each other, with posts, e.g. 11, 11a arranged between adjacent panels of each skin, supporting the panels at, e.g. 18, and having flanges which are seated in slots in the panel edges, compressible packing, e.g. 36 being arranged at the base of each slot. The posts may be vertically screw-adjustable, and the panels may comprise two vertically-adjacent sections filleted together. A pair of adjacent posts, one in each skin, can be interconnected via one or more curved members (72) mounted on each post via an elastic sleeve of, e.g. rubber (Fig. 6, not shown) and adjustable in length via nuts (74), or by a resilient curved member (82, Fig. 7, not shown) of, e.g., steel, or by a resilient block (92, Fig. 8, not shown) of, e.g. rubber. Glass panes 416 can be mounted in shaped edge members 403, and opposed panels insulated from each other by mineral fibre packing 409.
