The connection member 17 is screwed into a socket 19 of a rotary union 12, a spigot 18 of which is fast in the frame 3. A tangential pin 22 fast with the socket 19 engages a peripheral groove 21 of the spigot 18 to axially retain the socket and spigot together. The lower end 15b of the sheath 15 is secured by a collar 23 on to a connection member 24 secured fast with the torch 7 by a screw 25. The lower conduit connection may be replaced by a rotary union and the conduit 11 may comprise the sheath 15 only.
