1376339 Security paper BARTSOHVEBLAG KG 1 Dec 1971 [18 Nov 1971] 55715/71 Heading B6A A record sheet 10, e.g. forming the customer's top copy of an airline ticket, has a raised pattern 13 of the same colour as that of the reverse side of the sheet, applied to said reverse side, and a coloured, translucent, hot carbon transfer layer 11 is applied thereto such that, after the ticket has been made out, any subsequent forgery of the ticket involving rubbing the transfer layer to smooth its surface blurs the pattern or renders it invisible. The pattern, may be geometric, an inscription or a drawing. The pattern may be printed, the transfer layer being applied before the printing has dried.
