1375797 Mixed bactericides L LETARTRE 10 July 1973 32921/73 Heading A5E A bactericidal composition comprises an aqueous solution of formalin and a dimethylalkylbenzyl quaternary ammonium salt (e.g. chloride) in which the alkyl is C 12 to C 14 . The composition finds application in the manufacturing processes in food industries such as dairies, meat preserving and breweries, or in the purification of the ambient air therein.
