Abstract

1375169 Ventilating K D GOMM 14 March 1972 [2 Feb 1971] 3668/71 Heading F4V A heaterless unit which can be attached below a radiator of a central heating system comprises a casing 1 having an air inlet 2 in the top of the unit, an air outlet 3 in the front of the unit and a fan 9 driven by an electric motor 8. A thermally sensitive switch 10 may be provided, and has a spring clip 11 which is attached to a water pipe, so that the switch 10 will only operate when the temperature of the water is above a pre-set limit. A pair of resilient ears 14, 15 may be provided which can be compressed between the radiator and the wall to define an inlet channel to the opening 2.
