The air outlet grille 12 of an electric fan heater is of re-entrant form, as illustrated, or of protruding angled form, Fig. 2 (not shown). The heater casing comprises two shell halves 2. and 8 and air inlet openings 3 and 4 are provided on either side of a control panel 1.
