1374856 Marine propulsion plant BURMEISTER & WAINS MOTOR-OG MASKINFABRIK AF 1971 AS 22 Feb 1972 [1 March 1971] 8177/72 Heading B7V The propulsion unit of a marine tanker which transports liquefied combustible gas comprises two separate propulsion engines 1, 2 of which the first engine 1 is operated on normal liquid fuel in conventional manner and the second engine 2 is a gas turbine engine using as fuel the vapour from the liquefied gas carried as cargo in tank 15. The second engine is connected to the propeller shaft 14 by selectively disengageable clutch 10.
