Paints.-A paint, especially for use as an undercoat, consists of lead or zinc pigments such as white lead or zinc oxide, tung oil, another drying- oil such as linseed oil, a semi-drying oil such as soya-bean oil or cotton-seed oil, and a thinning- agent such as turpentine or petroleum distillates.
