Abstract

1373958 Window deflectors R MITCHELL 16 Oct 1972 [19 July 1971] 33697/71 Heading B7J [Also in Division F4] A ventilator for a motor vehicle window opening having a sliding pane 7 comprises a transparent panel 2 moulded to form a louvre blade on its lower edge leaving a flat margin at sides and top shaped to fit the head of the window opening, and a perforated pressed metal tray 3 which receives the lower edge of the panel 2. The panel 2 is moulded from plastics material and is secured in place by hooked plates inserted between the window frame and a window seal 6. A self adhesive brushed fur seal 4 and plastics foam sealing strip 5 are provided.
