Abstract

1373667 Automatic control of temperature DANFOSS AS 11 Nov 1971 [16 Nov 1970] 52421/71 Heading G3R [Also in Division G1] Apparatus for adjusting and indicating the operating curve of a weather-responsive heating regulator with two potentiometers 19, 20 being used to effect the adjustment and a pointer 4 representing the curve in conjunction with a co-ordinate system, comprises (a) an adjustable linear slide 9 fitted with a wiper contact 21 for the potentiometer 19 and carrying a pivotal bearing 27 for the pointer 4 and (b) another adjustable device 10 fitted with a wiper contact 22 for the potentiometer 20 and arranged to turn the pointer 4. The adjustable device 10 is another linear slide parallel to the slide 9 and formed with a cam surface 32 acting on a third slide 12 displaceable at right angles to the slide 9. The slide 12 has a slot 13 parallel to the slide 9 to guide the pointer 4 which is biased by a spring 30 against the cam surface side of the slot 13 so that an element 33 connected to the slide 12 bears against the cam surface 34. The slide 12 is made of sheet metal, by a strip bent over to form the element 33. The wiper contacts 21, 22 are carried by screws 23, 24 passing through the slides 9, 10 and receiving lock nuts 7, 8 whereby the slides 9, 10 are clamped on fixed elements 25, 26.
