1373464 Air jet looms VYZKUMNY A VYVOJOVY USTAV ZAVODU VSEOBEGNEHO STROJIRENSTVI 10 Jan 1972 1118/72 Heading D1E On a confuser tooth 1, the weft exit slot 6 is closed by a leaf spring 7, which deflects to allow the weft to leave through the slot. The internal edge 8 of the tooth is tapered frusto-conically in the direction of weft insertion. The tooth 1 and the leaf spring may be moulded integrally from plastics material.
