Abstract

1371857 Paper pulping BELOIT CORP 17 Feb 1972 [24 Feb 1971] 7481/72 Heading B2A A paper pulper impeller rotor 10 has at least one blade supporting position, and a respective blade 13 for the or each position, the blade 13 being generally flat with an enlarged portion 14 for positioning in a socket 15 of the rotor 10 for support against radial and circumferential running forces. A bolt 22 passes through a bore in the portion 14 to engage in a block 20 welded to a flange 10e of the rotor 10, further bolts 23-25 holding the blade 13 against a portion 18a extending beyond a locating slot (18), Fig. 3 (not shown). Blades 13 may be exchanged independently, and different weights of blade may be employed for balancing purposes.
