Abstract

1370172 Hairsprings BERNARD GOLAY SA 26 Sept 1972 [27 Sept 1971] 44317/72 Heading F2S [Also in Division G3] A hairspring comprises an outer spiral section 1 and an inner section 2 joined by a radial section 3 which co-operates with stops 4, 5 to limit the angle of spring oscillation. The inner end of the spring is attached to a collet (7) on a balance staff and the stops are formed by the sides of a loop (13) carried by a ring (12) which is retained between a balance cock (11) and a regulator 6. The ring (12) may be rotated to adjust the stops.
