Abstract

1369764 Bottle crate; decrating apparatus; roller conveyers KYOWA DENKI KAGAKU KK 3 Jan 1973 460/73 Headings B8P B8C and B8A A bottle crate includes passages 9 which extend through each longitudinal row of bottle compartments 8 and which comprise aligned openings 11, 13, 12 in each end wall, in each transverse partition and along the crate bottom. Additional passages may be provided transversely of the crate. An apparatus (Fig. 3) for removing bottles from the crate includes a roller conveyer (15) for the crate, stationary rails (16) fixed to the conveyer (15) and having ramped leading ends which cam bottles in the crate upwardly as the rails enter the passages 9, and a bottle gripping and removing machine (18) which grips the raised bottles.
