1367762 Spraying cermet coatings ASSOCIATED ENG Ltd 17 Sept 1971 [18 Sept 1970] 44688/70 Heading C7F [Also in Division B2] Metals and ceramics, e.g. Ni, Al, Cu, and bronze, alumina, zirconia, and chromic oxide are fed independently in powdered or solid form to a spray gun, simultaneously sprayed on to a substrate, and then hot pressed or sintered to form a cermet coating. The substrate may be a steel sheet wrapped around a rotatable mandrel.
